CASE STUDY: Nutrifare has been a prepared foods and prepared meals Manufacturer since 1991 and supplies large restaurant chains, international food companies, hospitals and rest residential homes. The company is located in Auckland, New Zealand and also manufacturing their own Dinners On Ice frozen meal range.
Nutrifare is staffed by a dedicated team of Chefs and cooks and maintains the very strict hygiene and good manufacturing practices required to support MAF & HACCP regulations. It is a family enterprise. Headed by a partnership of families and being involved in the food industry for over 20 years has made NutriFare the more aware of food quality and how important is a healthy diet and at the same time enjoy all the wonderful flavours that good tasting cuisine has to offer.
The sales fulfillment on the phone/fax took alot of time, resources and was very expensive. The company has decided to turn to the Web for customers and suppliers management and save the bills. Nutrifare searched on the Internet to find more effective way to communicate with customers while dealing with variety of suppliers in the same back office.

After the evaluation of AceFlex® Mall package and particularly the joint check-out ("single bill to the consumer") for multiple vendors, the company made a decision to start the project and integrate the custom Web design. The cooperation with ZipZap - regional AceFlex partner - enabled smooth integration with professional design skins as well as payment gateway facilities.
The user friendly e-marketplace software which is available as part of AceFlex® Mall package gave most features out-of-the-box. The optimized architecture of AceFlex® Mall software allowed the project to be deployed quickly on even low end servers in-house to save the start-up investment instead of purchasing a new hardware.
Customers may browse variety of menus available from different suppliers within e-marketplace and place orders for the selected meals. After check-out, the vendors receive appropriate notifications to ship orders when the client got a consolidated bill and saved the time for multiple placement walking through individual shops. The business is successfully flourishing in the region to meet the growing demand for a healthy food.
