CASE STUDY: Lexington International is a medical laser device manufacturer. The first product, the HairMax, was developed to promote hair growth for men/women across the world. The business model is a direct sales to the end user via the Internet. To date the company has received online orders from 80 countries.

"Integrating our key e-commerce elements, shopping cart, order management and fulfillment has been an ongoing and frustrating project for our company. Our requirements stem from our business being truly global yet still customer centric. At first Lexington tried a few off-the-shelf shopping cart systems, but experienced difficulty with integrating these solutions with a suitable order management system. Running a single system to manage and fulfill orders is very important to save administrative cost. After a period of time running multiple systems in parallel, they once again began to evaluate what other solutions were available and spent a significant amount of time and budget implementing three other systems.

From this positive experience, Lexington International decided to implement AceFlex® B2C/B2B e-commerce/CRM software. Although AceFlex® is an international company, the development and management teams made Lexington feel as if they were working with a local one.
