The new challenge for sales on the Internet raised a debate how cost-effective the licensed versus hosted e-commerce solution is and what route to follow for small/medium size merchants.
Today, it's hard to find a company that didn't hear about e-commerce. However, every merchant has different resources/capabilities available in-house to be used on e-commerce projects. To succeed, it's better off developing individual strategy for business running on the Internet.
Unlike other e-commerce solutions on the market, the multilingual AceFlex® B2C/B2B e-commerce software can be purchased with only one-time payment or leased (software as a service/SaaS) with a monthly fee per user for back office management. This creates flexibility for the customers to select the most effective way to manage the IT infrastructure at affordable cost in the long run.
Such options as customization level (enhancing of existing features or development of new ones), scalability to process more orders over time with the business growth or integration with any legacy thid-party applications/systems on-demand can be managed in both environments. To help customers succeed with AceFlex® e-commerce solution, the FREE technical support, life-time upgrades, FREE setup & on-demand consulting are optionally available.
Also, it's not required to keep any technical staff in-house to develop/maintain the project. This may be outsourced to a reputable partner that could take care of any technical issues related to the project. With the optional SLA service from AceFlex, the clients worldwide get assurance of resolutions with the highest priority as well as availability of custom programming on-demand.
Licensed e-commerce: if a company already has or opt to buy a colocated/dedicated server to run e-commerce projects, then a purchase of the software license is the best performance/price trade-off to deploy the e-commerce solution on the existing infrastructure to save the cost in the long run. On the surface, the initial cost seems higher, but with 2-3 years usability of the solution, the IT saving from depreciated software will contribute directly to the income.
The portability is another advantage - the e-commerce solution can be migrated to any other Web hosting service provider at any time once such decision has been made by the customer.
Hosted e-commerce: if a company does not have any hardware/software to use for e-commerce projects yet and there is no intention to purchase, then it's reasonable to begin with already existing e-commerce infrastructure with a monthly lease of the e-commerce software as a service.
Optionally, using AceFlex® B2C/B2B e-commerce software, the customer can strike a deal and pay off the license fee respectively later at any time and migrate the solution off the current facilities. We always listen carefully to the customer's needs and open to deal in most efficient way to help our clients grow and succeed with AceFlex® e-commerce solutions. |
